Coach Park Hang-seo's assistant, Mr. Lee Young-jin, revealed the reason why U23 Vietnam came to Korea for training.
“Tongyeong is colder than Thailand, where the 2020 AFC U23 Championship is taking place, but the weather is still quite warm. Therefore, it is not a bad condition for the players to practice,” said Lee Young-jin.

According to assistant Lee Young-jin, U23 Vietnam competed on ice and snow in Changzhou (China) in 2018, so training in cold weather in Korea will still be effective.
