The new film takes place decades after the original story and will take viewers into the “mysterious and dangerous home of the ape lord.”

According to British actor Tom Hiddleston, who plays the main character in the film, Kong: Skull Island will be staged differently from the previous King Kong films and will have a new interpretation of the legend of this giant ape. The new episode will still be attached to the plot of the original film, but will put King Kong in a new environment with special instincts.

Kong: Skull Island has just completed important scenes in Hawaii and Detroit (USA). The film crew has been in Australia since January 1 and filmed on Stradbroke Island, near Jumpinpin. The scene in the film is a US World War II fighter plane crashing on the beach.

“You can’t get close to the filming locations. There’s a lot of police and security around those locations,” a visitor to South Stradbroke Island told the Gold Coast News.
