Vietnam to host 2025 Southeast Asian women's football tournament
On May 13, the Southeast Asian Football Federation (AFF) officially announced that Vietnam will be the host country of the 2025 Southeast Asian Women's Football Championship - ASEAN Women's MSIG Serenity Cup.
This is the 13th time the tournament has been held, bringing together 8 regional national women's teams, including the Philippines (reigning champion), Thailand (4-time champion) and Vietnam (3-time champion).

The ASEAN Women's MSIG Serenity Cup 2025 will take place in Viet Tri and Hai Phong from August 6 to 19. Matches will be held at two main stadiums, Viet Tri (Phu Tho) and Lach Tray (Hai Phong). Viet Tri Stadium will host two semi-finals, the third-place match and the final. The tournament will kick off in August 2025.
The eight teams will be divided into two groups in the official draw on June 9. The top two teams in each group after the round-robin stage will advance to the semi-finals, and the winners of the semi-finals will compete in the final.
Hendrio officially joins Hanoi FC
