(Baonghean) - ...In an open and friendly atmosphere, the Spring 2015 Investor Meeting, co-organized by Nghe An province, the Party Committee of the Central Business Bloc, and the Vietnam Investment and Development Bank (BIDV), was a success, with the participation of over 800 delegates from central agencies, neighboring provinces, international organizations, business associations, investors, and press agencies.

At this conference, we heard many opinions on investment work in the province;

We are also pleased that 9 projects have been granted investment certificates and 9 investment cooperation agreements have been signed in Nghe An province with a total registered capital of 21,000 billion VND and 123 million USD. Notably, these are large projects invested by strong and reputable corporations in sectors that the province is prioritizing for investment attraction.

These projects, once operational, will undoubtedly create breakthroughs in growth and revenue for the locality, and will also serve as a driving force to attract more investment projects. Furthermore, at today's conference, the Vietnam Investment and Development Bank (BIDV) and businesses signed four framework agreements to provide credit for project implementation, with a total financing of VND 9,102 billion. These are encouraging results and a favorable start to the new year 2015.

The issues raised by the delegates, especially the investors, at the conference are extremely relevant and practical. We sincerely thank and acknowledge all these heartfelt contributions and will use them to guide, analyze, and learn from experience, aiming to organize and manage investment activities in the province more effectively and better meet the requirements of businesses and investors.

Nghe An province still has enormous potential for investment and development cooperation, especially after the Politburo issued Resolution No. 26-NQ/TW on the direction and tasks for the development of Nghe An province until 2020, which has opened up the most solid orientations for the socio-economic development of the province, making Nghe An the central province of the North Central region.

Therefore, we hope that investors and businesses will continue to pay attention to researching and introducing to their friends and partners the opportunity to invest in effective projects in Nghe An. For its part, Nghe An province is committed to further improving the investment and business environment, reviewing, adjusting, and supplementing various planning documents, issuing appropriate and consistent investment incentives and support policies; and effectively implementing the principle of the government accompanying businesses, promptly resolving difficulties and obstacles faced by investors during the registration, implementation, and execution of projects. I believe that with determination and innovation, businesses and investors will continue to achieve many successes in production and business, develop strongly, and contribute even more to society in general and Nghe An province in particular in the coming time, working together to build Nghe An into a prosperous province in the Northern region by 2015. By 2020, we will successfully achieve the goals set forth in Resolution 26-NQ/TW of the Politburo, and also fulfill the wishes of President Ho Chi Minh.
