Hillary Clinton Funded by IS Supporters?

(Baonghean.vn) - Julian Assange, founder of WikiLeaks, said he will release emails proving that Hillary Clinton received funding from the very people who support the self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS) terrorist organization.

The Democratic presidential candidate has been at the center of controversy for months over the leak of confidential emails. Just a week before the election, the FBI announced it was reopening its investigation into Clinton’s leaked emails after discovering new evidence.

In an interview with veteran journalist John Pilger, Mr. Assange said: “There was an email sent in early 2014, not long after she left the position of US Secretary of State, in the email inbox of Mr. John Podesta (Chairman of Hillary Clinton's election campaign). In it, it said that Saudi Arabia and Qatar were sponsors of the terrorist organization IS.”

WikiLeaks founder says this implies Clinton has been funded by IS supporters. Julian Assange accuses Hillary Clinton of misleading Americans about Washington's Middle Eastern allies supporting IS.

In just one year, WikiLeaks has published three batches of emails from Mrs. Clinton’s campaign. But Mr. Assange denies “trying to help Mr. Trump win.”

“Trump cannot win because he has no organization to back him up. Banks, intelligence agencies, arms companies... foreign funding and even the media all support Mrs. Clinton,” he said.
