Artist and director Nguyen Tan Luc passed away at 4 p.m. on September 13 at the Oncology Hospital No. 2 (HCMC) after a short period of treatment for Covid-19. The director, born in 1990, passed away when he was 10 years old. He has an older brother who is currently in quarantine in Binh Duong.

The director contracted Covid-19 in mid-August and was admitted to a field hospital in Ho Chi Minh City. Because his condition worsened rapidly, making treatment difficult, he was transferred to the Oncology Hospital No. 2, where he passed away.

As soon as they heard the news, many Vietnamese artists such as Cao Thai Ha, Hai Bang, Le Giang, and Bach Cong Khanh simultaneously shared their condolences to director Nguyen Tan Luc and his family.

On his personal page, the male director often posts pictures of food during the period of social distancing at home and happily chats with friends when he cannot go out to work. In mid-August, artist director Nguyen Tan Luc shared pictures of himself getting vaccinated with people in the residential area where he lives to prevent Covid.

Previously, in June, he happily shared a picture of his brother cutting his hair during the quarantine period. He also often shared pictures of working with his colleagues and looked forward to the end of the quarantine period so he could return to work as usual.
