This was a decision that shocked many people, including Vietnamese Futsal players, because he was the one who made a great contribution in bringing Vietnamese Futsal to the big sea.

According to the contract, Coach Bruno was with the Vietnam Futsal team from 2014 to 2017. Before the time of parting, there were still 6 months left until the end of the contract. So what was the reason that made the Spanish coach part with the Vietnam Futsal team?

The most obvious thing is that after the success of the Vietnam Futsal team, in the eyes of many people, Coach Bruno is a "magician", "wizard" - someone who has shown his talent to transform a mediocre team, not yet recognized in the world arena, into one of the 8 strongest teams in the world. Therefore, he received many invitations from famous Futsal teams and finally he decided to accept the offer to coach the Japanese Futsal team. The specific salary, bonus and terms of this new contract are not yet known, but it will certainly be much more generous than what Coach Bruno is currently receiving in Vietnam.

On the other hand, with what we have, the achievement at the 2016 Futsal World Cup is “beyond imagination” and has “hit its ceiling”. It may be a long time before Vietnamese Futsal can repeat this feat. And it seems that having foreseen that situation, Coach Bruno wisely chose another team to test himself rather than staying and doing something that he knew for sure would not be able to repeat the old achievement.

In the world, this is also a common thing, as coach Mourinho said when he was at the peak of his glory when he helped Inter Milan beat Bayern Munich in the Champions League final at Bernabeu in 2010: "My job is done. I made history with the team. Now I will look for new motivation at another big team. Will I face Barca in Spain? That will be a big challenge". Or coach Pep Guardiola - the respected coach of FC Barcelona and Bayern Munich, also left when he was very successful at these teams, Pep once revealed that the best way to leave the coaching position in the position of a winner is to "leave while the halo is still present".

Therefore, we somewhat understand and sympathize with the decision of Coach Bruno, who left when he was valuable with the new brand he built at the Futsal World Cup 2016, rather than staying, and then who knows, being fired in a few years, when our team made a miracle in the world but futsal is still a rather strange sport in Vietnam.
