(Baonghean) After the news that coach Calisto had told VFF that he wanted to return to Vietnam to lead the national team, yesterday afternoon, the Portuguese coach spoke up to confirm: "No one has talked to me about this issue. Maybe the VFF leadership has said something to reporters, but up to this point, no one has talked directly to me."

For now, Coach Calisto is only planning to visit Vietnam to visit his friends and student Cong Vinh - who recently became a father, but he has not yet set a specific time.

Coach Calisto has not returned to the Vietnam national team.

Thus, the information that Coach Calisto has expressed his desire to return to work in Vietnam if VFF meets his working conditions - as revealed by a VFF leader to the press - has been denied by the person involved.

Coach Calisto himself, although still waiting for a job in his home country of Portugal, is not necessarily ready to return to work in Vietnam, especially when he understands too well the current situation of Vietnamese football as well as the working style of the VFF.
