Preparing for the match in round 2, V.League 2018 against SLNA at Vinh Stadium, today (March 16), S. Khanh Hoa BVN Club arrived in Nghe An to get acquainted with the weather and field conditions there. In this away trip, Coach Vo Dinh Tan brought 22 players, including 2 foreign players Toure Youssouf (striker) and Zarour Chaher (center back).
This season, the team considered the most "rebellious" in V.League did not have many additions to its squad, most notably midfielder Truong Cong Thao from Saigon FC.
Speaking about the match this weekend, Coach Vo Dinh Tan commented: “SLNA is still a traditional team, so it is very difficult at any time at Vinh Stadium. Playing away from home, the head coach of S. Khanh Hoa BVN is no stranger to the passion of Nghe An fans. However, that is not what he is afraid of.
“The home team has many breakthrough factors, especially Phan Van Duc of U23 Vietnam. He has done well the task left by Phi Son. In addition, other players such as Que Ngoc Hai, Michael Olaha, Khac Ngoc... are all very high-quality players. The audience in Nghe An is very enthusiastic, that is the motivation and also unintentionally becomes pressure, depending on how the home team takes advantage of that support. We are not afraid of that and will be determined to get the best results,” said coach Vo Dinh Tan.
The match between Song Lam Nghe An and S. Khanh Hoa BVN will take place at 4:30 p.m. on March 18 at Vinh Stadium.
In the 2017 season, at Vinh Stadium, the home team Nha Trang held SLNA to a 2-2 draw. At August 19 Stadium (Nha Trang City), S. Khanh Hoa BVN also made SLNA almost empty-handed if it weren't for Olaha's equalizer 1-1 in the final minutes./.
