Coach Tuchel replaced Klopp less than a year ago and has left a strong mark. However, he has not forgotten, and cannot deny, the efforts of his predecessor.
"Dortmund is what it is today thanks to Jurgen. Whether it's eight months or eight years, his contributions to Dortmund still exist. I would be surprised if Jurgen doesn't receive a warm welcome when he returns. He deserves it," coach Tuchel shared. "Jurgen is a competitive person. He wants to win, and so do we."
Dortmund are considered a strong candidate for the Europa League title this season, as their strength has been proven throughout the season. In the round of 16, the "Black and Yellow" easily defeated Tottenham, even winning on the opponent's field.
Bayern Munich's Manuel Neuer calls Dortmund a Europa League team, but has the strength of the best teams in the Champions League.
