After 7 years working in Vietnam and having a family with 2 little angels, head coach Graechen has submitted an application for naturalization.

Guillaume Graechen was sent by the Arsenal JMG Global Academy to coach the first class of the HAGL Arsenal-JMG Academy in 2007. Mr. Graechen, a French national, was in love with a Vietnamese female chef at the HAGL Academy. They got married in 2009 and now have two lovely children.

Coach Graechen is happy with his family with a lovely baby boy and a baby girl.

During his 7 years working at the HAGL Arsenal-JMG Academy, Mr. Guillaume Graechen worked closely with Mr. Duc to train and develop Vietnamese youth football. Because of this close relationship, Mr. Graechen decided to submit an application for Vietnamese citizenship with the full Vietnamese name Doan Guillaume Duong, as revealed by HAGL team leader Nguyen Tan Anh. All procedures will be completed next week.

Earlier this year, Mr. Duc also successfully extended his contract until 2021 so that coach Graechen could work at the HAGL Arsenal-JMG Academy with peace of mind.

Mr. Graechen's success as head coach of Vietnam U19 will help the French strategist's application for naturalization more smoothly.

Guillaume Graechen was born on April 24, 1977 in Vernon (France).

He started his football career in 1993 with Dijon (a team currently playing in Ligue 2). In 2007, Guillaume Graechen hung up his boots and became a scout for former French international Jean-Marc Guillou.

At the end of 2007, coach Arsene Wenger himself introduced Guillaume Graechen to Mr. Duc when the owner of HAGL Group needed a dedicated and talented person to help build the HAGL Arsenal JMG Academy.
