Thanks to the training trip of the Vietnamese team in Korea, head coach Nguyen Huu Thang had the opportunity to go directly to Incheon Football Stadium to watch midfielder Luong Xuan Truong play for the team playing in the K-League. The coach from Nghe An was very happy because compared to Tuan Anh and Cong Phuong, Xuan Truong had the biggest advantage in terms of playing feeling when he was used right at the most stressful period of Incheon United, the team had to struggle to avoid relegation.
Sharing with the press after the afternoon training session on November 5, Coach Huu Thang commented: “Incheon United played with a 4-1-4-1 formation. Xuan Truong was placed lowest in midfield. That is not his forte. Through discussion, I know that Incheon United’s coach always requires players to pass the ball long when they have it. This is also a characteristic of Korean football, which requires a lot of speed, physical strength and likes long balls.”

“Xuan Truong played well in that match. I was very happy to see him prove himself. It would have been even better if Truong had played in his best position. Anyway, playing in a different position proved that Xuan Truong knows how to adapt quickly to any situation,” the coach from Nghe An shared.
