Coach Kim Sang Sik affirmed that the Vietnamese team has prepared thoroughly, is in the best physical condition and aims to win all 3 points to close 2025 with an important victory.
On November 18, coach Kim Sang Sik attended a press conference before the match against the home team in the final qualifying round of the 2027 Asian Cup. Here, coach Kim Sang Sik shared his initial assessment of the opponent as well as the team's preparation for this important match.
“Tomorrow's match is the national team's last match in 2025 and is also an important match in the Asian Cup qualifiers, so we have prepared very carefully.”

Regarding the form and fitness of the players, the Korean coach said: “All my players are in the best physical condition and I believe that tomorrow we will have a good match, bringing good results. We will try our best. This is the last match of the year for the Vietnamese team, and I believe that the whole team is in the best physical condition, reaching 100%”.
He also emphasized the team's important goal in this match: "The most important thing is to get 3 points. Although we still have the next match with Malaysia, winning tomorrow's match is very important. A win will be a great motivation for the upcoming matches."

Striker Xuan Son returned to the Vietnam national team after nearly a year of absence due to injury.
