Coach Mai Duc Chung: The rematch with Myanmar in the final will be very difficult

With a resounding 4-0 victory over Cambodia, the Vietnamese women's team won a ticket to the final of the 32nd SEA Games to meet the Myanmar women's team.

After the match, coach Mai Duc Chung said: "The whole team is happy to have reached the final. The Vietnamese women's team is very respectful of their opponents, and Cambodia has also made a lot of progress. In this match, the team met the requirements set by the coaching staff, which is to win the match and maintain their strength."

The Vietnamese women's team won big against Cambodia and entered the final match of SEA Games 32.

The opponent in the final match of the women's football event of the 32nd SEA Games of the Vietnamese women's team will be Myanmar, the team that surprisingly beat Thailand 4-2 in the other semi-final match.

Evaluating the Myanmar team, coach Mai Duc Chung shared: "Because we met each other in the group stage, the Myanmar team understands the Vietnamese women's team very well, and vice versa, we also understand them."

"The chance for the upcoming final will be 50-50, both sides will definitely exploit each other's weaknesses, while taking advantage of each side's strengths, with the goal of achieving good results in the final."

Coach Mai Duc Chung wants the Vietnamese women's team not to be complacent.

I think we can't be complacent because of the group stage victory. We have to forget that match and focus completely on the final. The team's goal is always the same. Trying to win each match one by one to reach the final victory."

Captain Huynh Nhu showed her determination to win the final match.

Meanwhile, striker Huynh Nhu expressed her determination: "After a long time playing in Portugal, I also learned many things, such as controlling the ball more confidently, thereby doing better when returning to play for the national team.
