Speaking at a press conference, the Portuguese coach said: “Scott McTominay played very well. He showed his strength in midfield. Axel Tuanzebe was a bit shaky at the beginning of the match but then he got into the rhythm and played well.”
In this match, coach Mourinho made 7 changes compared to the match against Huddersfield in the Premier League last weekend. However, it can be seen that MU played much better against Swansea.
Speaking more about this match, the Portuguese coach said: “We put pressure on from the first minutes with an annoying pressing style of play. The players' attitude was also better. In addition, we did not encounter any injuries. Overall, this was a good day of competition.”
The win over Swansea was particularly significant for Mourinho as it was his 400th Premier League game. When asked about the milestone, the “Special One” said: “I still feel as nervous as I did in 2004, when I first arrived in the league. I feel more mature in how I react to things.”
