"Of course, SLNA still needs to strengthen its force, especially in the attack. We have practiced finishing a lot and today we took advantage of it well to win deservedly," said coach Duc Thang.
Coach Lee Tea Hoon takes full responsibility for the defeat.
“The pitch was too hard, which was also the reason why my players could not perform as expected. We have just built a new style of play, so it takes time for the players to adapt,” coach Lee Tea Hoon shared after his team’s defeat in the away match at Vinh Stadium.

"I'm really not satisfied with today's match. However, when having to adapt to a new style of play, the players will need time and so will I. It can be seen that in some situations, my students forgot their basic positions and tasks. Besides, they also reacted too slowly when counter-attacked," HAGL head coach Lee Tae-hoon expressed his dissatisfaction when talking about his tactics not being remembered and implemented by his students.
When asked about the opponent and the match result, the Korean coach frankly admitted: “SLNA is a solid defensive team, my players could not speed up the attack. Besides, HAGL's attacking players did not have many opportunities to score. I take responsibility for HAGL's defeat today.”
The result of this match helped SLNA return to the top 4 while HAGL dropped 1 position from 9th to 10th on the rankings after the end of the first leg of V.League 2019.
