Responding to the question of what plans the Board of Directors has to retain players whose contracts have expired, Coach Duc Thang said: “We are planning and working with sponsors. I cannot guarantee how much funding there will be for the new season, it depends on many different factors.”
According to the Nghe An coach, SLNA's goal in the remaining stages of the V.League is to play well in each match and not set any specific targets.
“This year’s competition is very fierce. You see, Khanh Hoa is at the bottom with 23 points but still has a chance to stay in the league. Just one misstep and the team in the middle will easily fall into the bottom group. I hope that next season, SLNA will be more well-prepared and we will set higher goals,” said coach Duc Thang.
