PSG wants Zidane to replace Pochettino
PSG soon targeted Zidane, because Mauricio Pochettino could not convince the board of directors as well as the Qatari owners. The Argentine coach lost points when he had difficulty managing PSG's star-studded dressing room. He also has not found a solution to connect the three stars Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar in attack.
The team's performance has also declined since Pochettino replaced Thomas Tuchel in early 2021. In the first 6 months leading PSG, he only won the French Cup. In the Ligue 1 race, PSG was one point behind Lille. In the Champions League semi-finals, they also stopped playing when they lost 1-4 on aggregate to Man City.
