Coach Park Hang-seo finalizes the list to go to UAE, Xuan Manh and Van Hoang are absent

Of the 29 players selected by Coach Park Hang-seo, 27 are part of the 37-man squad currently training at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center. The remaining two players are young midfielder Nguyen Hai Long from the Vietnam U22 team and goalkeeper Dang Van Lam, who is currently playing for Cezero Osaka (Japan) and can only join the national team during FIFA days (FIFA's international match schedule, the period when clubs are required to release players to play for national teams).

The upcoming FIFA days will begin on May 31, so in principle this will be the time when goalkeeper Dang Van Lam will be present in the Vietnam national team. However, at the request of the Vietnam Football Federation, Cezero Osaka Club has agreed to support and create conditions for Dang Van Lam to be able to join the team earlier. Accordingly, this goalkeeper will move from Japan to the UAE on May 27, coinciding with the time the Vietnam national team arrives in the UAE.

Tomorrow afternoon (May 26), the Vietnam National Team will depart for the UAE. The flight takes off at 4:10 p.m. at Noi Bai Airport (Hanoi) and is expected to arrive in Dubai (UAE) at 7:40 p.m. local time (10:40 p.m. Vietnam time).

The list of 10 players not on the list of the Vietnamese national team going to the UAE to compete in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers includes: Striker Nguyen Anh Duc, defender Tran Van Kien, midfielder To Van Vu, midfielder Phan Van Long, midfielder Do Thanh Thinh, defender Nguyen Minh Tung, goalkeeper Nguyen Van Hoang, defender Pham Xuan Manh, midfielder Cao Van Trien and goalkeeper Pham Van Phong.
