In a quick interview with the Korean press as soon as he arrived at Incheon airport, coach Park Hang-seo highly appreciated his players' efforts, especially at the 2019 Asian Cup.
Despite having to compete continuously in many tournaments, not having much time to prepare and being too tired both physically and mentally after winning the AFF Cup, the players have shown their utmost effort to complete their tasks excellently, continuing to bring joy and pride to the fans.

That is the effort of the entire system, from the leadership, direction and facilitation of VFF for the preparation plan before each tournament to the silent contributions of the clubs, training centers, functional departments in the VFF apparatus and sponsors.
Mr. Park also thanked the encouragement of many Vietnamese athletes, including fans who did not mind the hardships and were always present in the stands to cheer for the players even when the team competed in faraway countries.
According to the plan, after the Tet holiday, Coach Park Hang-seo will return to work. He will begin the selection of players for the U23 National Team to participate in the U23 Asian Qualifiers by directly attending the matches of the U22 Vietnam Team at the 2019 Southeast Asian U22 Championship, taking place in Cambodia from February 17 to February 26.
