Coach Park Hang-seo laments the V.League's 'foreign preference'

Speaking to the press on the morning of December 21, the national team's coaching staff said that players Viet Anh, Hai Long, Van Toan, and Hai Long will be part of the national team. Player Bui Hoang Viet Anh had some conflicts in a recent training session and on December 23 left the possibility of playing open. On December 27, the head coach will decide whether Viet Anh will play for the Vietnam national team or the U22 team. Goalkeeper Van Toan will play for the Vietnam U22 team.

Sharing about the team situation, Coach Park Hang-seo said: “I want to observe the players of both teams, I will sit above. The list of players will be decided by me, but when there are many unexpected situations on the field, the assistants will do this on my behalf. It is not possible to evaluate the ability of these two teams. Maybe U22 Vietnam can still win against the Vietnam National Team.

Regarding the fact that the Vietnamese team was being figured out, I think that building the team's organization is not simple, we still promote the good points in the recent past. I have encountered many difficulties in finding strikers. Up to 70-80% of strikers play inV.LeagueAs a foreign player, I have been looking for strikers with red eyes but have not found any. As for midfielders, I have found some new names.

Meanwhile, captain Que Ngoc Hai shared: “In the past time, the Vietnam national team's defense has had many injuries such as Dinh Trong, Duy Manh and Van Hau. Of course, there will be more understanding with those players, but football has injuries, unexpected things happen, it is normal, we have to adapt.

Apart from Bui Tien Dung, the teammates I played with at Viettel Club, the players called up this time all performed well. The defensive system has been thoroughly trained by the head coach and the coaching staff, so they are well prepared for any training session. This is also a good time for the new players to integrate with each other.

As for the goalkeepers, based on observations of recent training sessions, I see that they are all capable and hardworking. With players in high form, the Vietnamese team has strong competition in all lines. All players have integrated well, hopefully in any situation they can do their best."
