(Baonghean.vn) - Despite defeating U22 Indonesia in the historic SEA Games final with U22 Vietnam, Coach Park Hang-seo still apologized to Vietnamese fans for the red card. Meanwhile, Coach Sjafri of U22 Indonesia still refused to admit defeat.
Speaking to the media after the victory over U22 Indonesia, coach Park Hang-seo said: "Before the match, I was worried because Quang Hai was injured, Trong Hung was injured and yesterday Thanh Thinh was also injured. However, I did not expect the players to overcome the difficulties and overcome like that."
Besides, the Korean coach shared: “In the meeting before the match, I conveyed the message of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc that behind the team there is always the support of the Vietnamese people. This is a completely worthy victory.”

U22 Vietnam won, but I still want to apologize to everyone. The secret to winning the SEA Games is national spirit," coach Park emphasized.
Sharing about the difficulties at this SEA Games, the Korean coach said: “My biggest concern is the players’ injuries. Luckily, no player has had serious problems. Finally, I would like to thank the reporters who have reported and followed the team closely during the past time.”
