Coach Pham Anh Tuan explains the winning streak of Song Lam Nghe An Club

On the afternoon of May 26, Song Lam Nghe An Club defeated Binh Duong with a score of 1-0 at Vinh Stadium. This was the third consecutive victory of the Nghe An team, helping them escape the dangerous position on the rankings.

Sharing after the match, coach Pham Anh Tuan revealed the reason why Song Lam Nghe An had a series of successful matches:“I haven’t done much, but just made them feel comfortable and relieved some of the pressure. Actually, they played well before, not badly, but due to psychological pressure. They are young and under pressure, so mistakes are easy to make. I have helped them improve their mentality and become more confident, so they play more freely.

On the other hand, coach Le Huynh Duc lamented that both teams had difficulty in this match due to the hot, humid weather and the dense competition schedule, causing their physical strength to decline quickly.

“After only a few dozen minutes of play, Song Lam Nghe An had to make substitutions. We had to move a lot and today the players’ legs no longer listened to their heads, so their heads could not control their legs and many mistakes occurred.”Mr. Duc said.

Explaining this loss and recent matches, Binh Duong FC has shown signs of running out of steam with all losses and draws, coach Le Huynh Duc said:“Not only us but also some teams were out of breath. I think Song Lam Nghe An played at home today, but away games would be difficult. In this match, our team was weakened by injuries and fatigue due to constant travel. However, we had two very clear opportunities but failed to take advantage and paid the price.”
