That is the opinion of coach Zoran Jankovich (U23 Thailand) after the friendly match with U23 Australia on January 6.
“We are facing a physically strong team. They are a really amazing team and probably one of the best teams in the 2018 AFC U23 Championship,” he said.
"They don't look like an Asian team but more like a European team," said coach Jankovich.
U23 Thailand will be in Group B with U23 Palestine, U23 Japan and U23 DPRK. Meanwhile, U23 Australia is in Group D with U23 Vietnam, U23 Korea and U23 Syria.
