Ho Ngoc Ha, Dong Nhi, Tien Tien, Toc Tien, Son Tung compete for the Blue Wave award

The organizers of the 2015 Green Wave Music Awards have just announced the top 5 nominees for Single of the Year. Accordingly, What is love? (Ho Ngoc Ha), Vi ai vi anh (Dong Nhi), Say you do (Tien Tien), Ngay mai (Toc Tien) and Am tham ben em (Son Tung M-TP) are the five singles on the nomination list.

The results of the single of the year are kept secret and will only be announced on the awards night at 7:30 p.m. on December 18 at Lan Anh stage, broadcast live on HTV3 channel as well as live on FM99.9Mhz of Ho Chi Minh City Radio and Television.

What is love? is a song written by musician Kien Tran, the lyrics were written by Ho Ngoc Ha herself and remixed by Hoang Touliver with extremely catchy, unique and trendy music, blending RnB Dance and EDM. What Is Love? is considered the first song marking the collaboration between Ho Ngoc Ha and Hoang Touliver.

In the MV What is love? directed by Dinh Ha Uyen Thu, Ho Ngoc Ha brings to the audience a seductive yet strong and vibrant image through beautiful, hot and extremely attractive dance moves.

For Whom, For You – Dong Nhi

At Liveshow 6 with the theme New composition of The Remix 2015 contest, Dong Nhi first introduced the song Vi ai vi anh (English name: Stop Loving You) by young musician Do Hieu and received extremely positive feedback from the audience through the vibrant, catchy melody and even Dong Nhi's hot choreography.

The performance of this song helped Dong Nhi's team win in Liveshow 5. After that success, Dong Nhi and her crew filmed a rather elaborate MV with beautiful images. "Am tham ben em" was composed and performed by Son Tung M-TP himself. Although the melody and lyrics were not really groundbreaking, it quickly became a hit thanks to its large fan base. Contributing significantly to this success was the MV, which was built almost like a short film of about 12 minutes, directed by Quang Huy, telling the romantic but also tragic love story of a gangster (played by Son Tung M-TP himself) and a salesgirl.

The guy tried to hide his identity, but the girl discovered him and broke up with him. After a fight, he was seriously injured and decided to reform to have a chance to get back with his love. The MV has an open ending, leaving viewers with many regrets.

Up to this point, the number of views of the MV on Son Tung's official Youtube page has exceeded 28 million.
