Support 25 million VND for the family of the deceased fisherman

(Baonghean.vn) - On June 14, Vietnam Television, the People's Committee and the Fisheries Association of Quynh Long Commune (Quynh Luu) visited and presented financial support to the family of fisherman Tran Van Lanh, Cong Hoa village, Quynh Long Commune, who died while fishing at sea.

The amount of 25 million VND was given to support the family of fisherman Tran Van Lanh, contributed by fishermen and ship owners of Quynh Long commune.

Previously, on March 17, 2017, fishing boat number NA-9688TS, captained by Tran Van Loi (born in 1989), residing in Quynh Long commune, Quynh Luu district, and 15 other crew members, was fishing offshore about 40 nautical miles from the coast when the winch suddenly broke.

The incident caused Tran Van Lanh (born in 1982), from Quynh Long commune, Quynh Luu district, to die on the spot. In addition, three other crew members on the ship were also seriously injured, including: Bui Ha (born in 1993), residing in Quynh Thuan commune, Quynh Luu district, Le Van Hoa (born in 1989) and Le Van Phuong (born in 2000), both residing in Quynh Long commune, Quynh Luu district.

Mr. Lanh passed away, leaving behind his wife and three small children. The family of four is currently in a very difficult situation. They have no home and have to live with their grandparents. His wife has no stable job.

On this occasion, Vietnam Television guided the locality and family to complete the procedures so that the Vietnamese Heart Fund and Vietnam Television could support the family with 10 million VND.
