Providing assistance to 3 families affected by tornadoes.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 21st, Hanh Dich Border Guard Station (Nghe An Border Guard Command) coordinated with the Party Committee and local government of Hanh Dich commune, Que Phong district, to inspect and address the damage caused by tornadoes and hailstorms in the area.
Earlier, at 4 PM on May 18th, a tornado and hailstorm struck Hanh Dich commune, causing damage to houses of 26 households (mainly roofs); sweeping away approximately 52 kg of fish; uprooting and breaking 5.9 hectares of acacia trees; completely destroying 14.52 hectares of rice; and damaging 14.3 hectares of other crops (corn, cassava, peanuts)... Fortunately, there were no casualties.

The delegation visited and encouraged the affected families and presented three gifts totaling 2,100,000 VND to provide some support to the three families of Mr. Vi Van Minh, Mr. Ha Van Tho, and Mr. Ha Van Luyen (Na Sai village) who suffered heavy losses due to the tornado.
