Representatives from Viettel Nghe An Branch reported on the implementation of the "Joining Hands for the Community - Cattle Breeding to Help the Poor in Border Areas" program in the province.

Poor households in border areas receive one cow from the program worth 15 million VND (female calf over 12 months old, local breed or crossbred, weighing 130kg or more, healthy, and without deformities). As of the end of May 2015, the program had distributed 2,241 breeding cows to poor households in Nghe An, of which 1,020 were distributed to six border districts (Thanh Chuong, Anh Son, Que Phong, Con Cuong, Tuong Duong, and Ky Son).
