After more than 1 year of settling in Canada, Miss Diem Huong's family just had the opportunity to return to Vietnam to celebrate the Lunar New Year of At Ty.

Diem Huong said she and her husband had carefully planned to complete the necessary paperwork and arrange time to meet friends and relatives. In particular, Noah also had the opportunity to visit his father, grandparents, aunts and uncles.

One of the memorable memories of the past few days was the motorbike trips with my husband around Saigon. "Riding a motorbike with my husband was a very happy and exciting feeling. But because of that overwhelming feeling, on the third day, my husband got sick with a fever and had to lie down all day. At that point, the fun was a little less," Diem Huong confided.

From the moment she set foot at the airport, Diem Huong was warmly welcomed with a name tag and enthusiastic support, surprising her whole family.

She took the opportunity to stop by her favorite duck porridge shop, wash her hair at a familiar shop in the alley and get her beauty done before visiting her husband's family in District 8.

Although they have only been away from Saigon for more than a year, Diem Huong and her husband have noticed many positive changes, especially stricter traffic regulations.

Diem Huong was crowned Miss World Vietnam in 2010 and represented Vietnam in many international beauty contests such as Miss Earth 2010 (Top 14) and Miss Universe 2012. After ups and downs in her personal life with two previous marriages, she has now found happiness with her husband Lieu Thanh Duy, who is two years younger.

In Canada, Diem Huong has built a stable life. The beauty focuses on tattooing to generate more income, while her husband works at a car company. She describes her husband as a gentle, hard-working person who especially likes to cook for his wife and children.

What makes Diem Huong happiest is the good relationship between her husband and her 9-year-old son Noah. "He often teaches the child English and plays sports together. On weekends, the whole family often goes out for dinner and to famous places to take pictures," she shared.
