"When we decided to postpone the wedding, he and I were a little sad, but we also had to think realistically and quickly come to an understanding. The most important thing about a wedding is to ensure joy for everyone. If we decided to hold the wedding as planned, there might be few or no guests. At that time, we could be very sad, maybe even sadder than postponing the wedding" - Miss Ngoc Han confided.
The 2010 beauty queen said she did not want guests to feel awkward during the Covid-19 pandemic: "When I see a wedding where the bride and groom have to wear masks, I feel uneasy. Therefore, I do not want my guests to go to the wedding feeling uncomfortable or worried. I want the wedding to be a truly happy day. Wedding guests should feel comfortable and happy."
Ngoc Han's boyfriend is currently working at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The beauty once shared about her love story with her future husband: "We met in 2011, when I had just been crowned Miss for a while, and he was just a student. We were destined to study at the same Tran Nhan Tong High School, but we did not meet in Vietnam but in Egypt.
At that time, I was the tourism ambassador of the two countries and went to visit Egypt. He was assigned by the Embassy to lead a group of beauty queens and reporters on a tour. He told me that we had studied at the same school before. He knew me, but I did not know him. But I was impressed by his humor and wit. After that, we got to know each other."
