Miss Phuong Nga: 'My current life is very happy'
The beauty said that after a period of being released on bail, she has stabilized her mental state. She only stays at home, spends a lot of time with her mother, practices yoga and reads books.
Wearing a youthful, dynamic jeans outfit, Truong Ho Phuong Nga (30 years old, Miss Vietnam in Russia) went to court at noon on August 28 to submit a request to change the preventive measure from banning her from leaving her place of residence to banning her from leaving the country.
The beauty always smiled and was friendly when many people recognized her and asked to take pictures. She said that when she received the news that the Ho Chi Minh City Police temporarily suspended the investigation of the case, she was very surprised and excited.
"After being released on bail, my health and spirit were not good, but now they are stable and my spirit is more comfortable. My current life is very happy. I just stay at home with my family, spend a lot of time with my mother, do yoga and read books. When there is a summons from the investigation agency, I will come to work," Phuong Nga said.
She added that the investigation into the case is currently suspended and it is not known when it will end. The application of preventive measures prohibiting people from leaving their place of residence has greatly affected her work and life, so she hopes it will "be closed soon, the sooner the better."

After a quick chat with reporters, Phuong Nga walked alone through Nguyen Van Binh book street. She said she wanted to find some books to read while waiting for the investigation agency to clarify the case.
Previously, the beauty was accused of tricking Mr. Cao Toan My into buying a cheap house with her friend Nguyen Duc Thuy Dung, who appropriated 16.5 billion VND. Last September, in her first trial, Phuong Nga affirmed that there was no house sale between her and the American tycoon. The two were in a relationship and the 16.5 billion VND she received was a romantic agreement between the two parties over 7 years.
When the two had a conflict, Mr. My wanted to get his money back. Nga accused Mr. My of violating the marriage regime, while he accused her of borrowing money and not paying it back, then changed to accusing her of cheating her into buying a cheap house... During the investigation, the beauty queen remained silent about the accusations, saying she "doesn't trust anyone, including the investigators".
After reinvestigation, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Court held a second trial at the end of June. Because the basis for the charges against the two defendants had many unclear points, the court requested further investigation. Phuong Nga and Thuy Dung were released on bail but were prohibited from leaving their place of residence./.
