Vy confided in her mother and her mother encouraged Vy to boldly register for the contest. Her mother told Vy, consider it your first challenge at the age of 18. Whether successful or not, it will be an extremely valuable experience of youth. Moreover, Miss Vietnam is a prestigious contest so her mother was completely assured to let Vy compete. It can be said that her mother always supported and encouraged Vy's every decision, not just about participating in the beauty pageant. Vy felt extremely lucky and happy because her parents were always by her side.

It can be seen that during the Miss Vietnam 2018 competition rounds, your mother was always in the hall or behind the scenes to cheer you on. What is the most memorable memory of Vy and her mother when you competed in the Miss pageant?

When she participated in the Miss Vietnam 2018 contest, Vy did not have much time to see her family. Sometimes, Vy could only meet her mother for a few minutes backstage during the rehearsals. Especially, when the sub-competitions were held in Da Nang, her mother often ran back and forth from Hoi An to watch Vy perform or practice while assembling the stage. Even though she only met her mother briefly and then had to say goodbye to her mother to continue other activities, Vy felt like she was given more strength to try harder. The most memorable memory is the memory of her mother and Vy going to find and sew each dress and shirt to bring to the contest, but when it came to the contest, she could not wear any of them because they were not very suitable. At that time, Vy was very scared, but luckily, Vy had close sisters in the contest who lent her dresses to wear when participating in accompanying activities. As for the main contests, Vy used costumes supported by the Miss Vietnam Organizing Committee.

When did Tieu Vy's mother feel most worried about her daughter? Before the exam, during the exam or after being crowned?

When Vy competed in Miss Vietnam, her mother lost 5 kg because she was so worried about her daughter. Later, when Vy was crowned, although her mother was very happy, she was still worried because she was afraid that Vy would not be able to withstand the pressure from public opinion. Perhaps everyone still remembers the moment Vy hugged her mother and the two of them cried together after being crowned. In fact, at that time, Vy did not think that she had become a Miss, Vy just thought that she was her mother's little daughter and wanted to lie in her mother's arms. Vy was so surprised and overwhelmed, only her mother's hug was warm and familiar to her.

Whenever Vy has a crisis or false rumors, how does her mother share with you?

Whenever Vy is in crisis or has bad rumors, her mother often confides in her and advises her daughter so that Vy doesn't think too much. Her mother shows optimism, happiness and tries to comfort Vy, but Vy knows that every time something happens, her mother will be the one who thinks more, even losing sleep and appetite. Vy understands her mother's feelings, so she always tries and makes an effort to be better every day so that her mother can feel secure. Vy is far away from her mother, so sometimes she feels very sad. When she is sad, if her mother is there, it will probably be half as bad or disappear completely. However, her mother always takes the initiative to ask and care, just by her voice, her mother knows if Vy is happy or sad. To Vy, her mother is more than a confidant.

Living far from home, Tieu Vy rarely has time to spend with her parents, but she still arranges time to occasionally visit her home in Hoi An. Besides, her mother often shares and encourages her to study and balance her life away from home.

Vy and her mother call each other every day, unless one of them is too busy. Vy tells her mother everything. Sometimes, Vy is sad about one thing or another, but she doesn't dare tell her mother because she doesn't want her to worry. Vy's mother cries easily, so Vy is afraid that her mother will cry because she loves and worries about her.
