Dieu Hoa was born in 1969 and was crowned Miss Vietnam in 1990, when she was a fourth-year student majoring in Russian at Hanoi University of Foreign Languages. In 1992, Dieu Hoa met Indian businessman Maneesh and got married a year later.
Currently, the beauty has 3 children and works at a company in Ho Chi Minh City. She graduated with a master's degree in business administration from the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. Dieu Hoa is listed in the Vietnam Book of Records as "the beauty queen who speaks the most foreign languages". She knows 5 foreign languages: Russian, English, French, Thai, Hindi.

Miss Vietnam 1990 has two teenage daughters with stunning beauty. The eldest daughter is Nguyen Dieu My, Indian name is Sonali Dane, born in 1997, currently studying at one of the most prestigious schools in the US.
