After failing many consecutive competitions, Vietnam's representative - Huynh Tran Y Nhi suddenly broke through when she entered the top 8 best charity projects of Miss World 2025.

On the evening of May 26, the gala night announced the results.Beauty With a PurposeMiss World 2025 took place in Telangana (India), gathering 108 contestants from all over the world.

Vietnam's representative - Huynh Tran Y Nhi appeared gorgeous in a classic silver strapless evening gown, decorated with embossed patterns and sparkling sequins.

With the projectOpen the book - Open the dream, building a community library to bring knowledge to students in remote areas, Y Nhi was named in the top 8 best charity projects.

Sharing at the event, she emotionally told about the journey of implementing the project, which started from a renovation of an old school. However, after listening to the children share their dreams, Ý Nhi realized that the problem was not only in the facilities but more deeply in the limited awareness and belief in education.

From then on, she was determined to build open libraries, helping children access books, broadening their vision of the future, careers and technology. The project attracted strong attention on social networks, raising thousands of books that she herself brought to give to children.

Up to now, Y Nhi has completed 20 community libraries.

Y Nhi also sent her thanks to the President of Miss World for creating the foundation.Beauty With a Purpose, helping girls like her have the opportunity to contribute to the community.

At the end of the event, 4 contestants won the charity project and went straight to the top 40 finalists: Indonesia (Monica Kezia Sembiring), Puerto Rico (Valeria Pérez), Uganda (Natasha Nyonyozi), Wales (Millie-Mae Adams).

Although she did not win, the achievement of being in the top 8 outstanding charity projects is still a meaningful stepping stone, adding hope for Ý Nhi to make a breakthrough in the final stages of Miss World 2025.

Miss Puerto Rico - Valeria Pérez carries out the project “Communicating without limits” aiming at an inclusive society where everyone is heard and respected. She also organizes awareness campaigns, inclusive theater performances and art activities for the deaf.

Natasha Nyonyozi from Uganda has sparked public interest with her project to support children with autism. Natasha has created practical community programs that not only provide emotional and educational support but also help change the social perspective on autism.

From Wales, Millie-Mae Adams aims to train young people in basic first aid skills. Not only does the project save lives in emergency situations, it also inspires young people to love and take action.

After the gala night, the contestants entered a period of intensive training to prepare for the final night taking place on May 31. The reigning Miss World - Krystyna Pyszková will hand over the crown to her successor.
