The beautiful middle blocker will be competing in the Thai championship next season with a high salary and good benefits. Unless there are unexpected changes, the former captain of the Vietnamese national team, currently playing for the top team, the Industrial and Commercial Bank of Vietnam, will compete in the 2016 Thai championship for Danish Nongrua. The 33-year-old Vietnamese volleyball beauty caught the eye of the Thai club's coaching staff when she participated in the Royal Thai Cup with the banking team. There, Kim Huệ delivered an outstanding performance, helping her team win the runner-up title.

After lengthy negotiations with Kim Huệ personally, as well as her club, the Industrial and Commercial Bank, Danish Nongrua reached an agreement to acquire the top middle blocker in Southeast Asia for next season. Kim Huệ's income will be comparable to what Ngọc Hoa is currently receiving at Bangkok Glass Club, approximately $3,000 per month, not including bonuses and full support for accommodation and travel expenses.

Thus, in the 2016 Thai National Volleyball Championship, there are two representatives from Vietnamese volleyball: the outstanding middle blockers Kim Huệ and Ngọc Hoa, who were once part of the Vietnamese national volleyball team. However, they will not be playing together but will face each other in at least two matches, home and away, wearing the jerseys of Bangkok Glass and Danish Nongrua. The Thai Championship consists of 8 clubs, playing a double round-robin format (home and away) to determine the rankings.

Due to the different tournament formats and timings in the two countries, like Ngoc Hoa, Kim Hue could still play for both Vietinbank and Danish Nongrua. Not long ago, Kim Hue also received an invitation from Ayutthaya Club to play professionally in the 2015 tournament. The team even sent an official letter to the Vietnam Volleyball Federation and Vietinbank, inviting Hue for a medical check-up and contract negotiations. However, at the last minute, Hue's overseas move unexpectedly fell through due to procedural issues.

Kim Hue will face her teammate Ngoc Hoa in the Thai championship.

Before Kim Hue, Vietnamese volleyball had four players who went abroad to play professionally: outside hitter Ngo Van Kieu (Indonesia, 2007 and 2008), middle blocker Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa (Thailand, 2014-2015), outside hitter Do Thi Minh (Thailand, 2014), and libero Nguyen Thi Kim Lien (Thailand, 2014). Among them, Ngoc Hoa was the most successful, winning third place in the national championship and the National Super Cup with Ayutthaya in 2014, and winning the national championship and the Asian Women's Club Championship in 2015 with Bangkok Glass.
