Ngoc Hiep has been in Japan for over a year and is currently completing a Japanese language course. Next March, she will begin studying business, restaurant, and hotel management.

Ngoc Hiep admits that she is a bit shy in front of a crowd. She accidentally learned about the contest through a friend's introduction. Initially, she was a bit hesitant, but with the support of her family and friends, she confidently entered the contest and expressed herself.

In the response part, Hiep received 2 questions from the judges and she responded very intelligently. To the question "What do you think is a beautiful woman?", Hiep replied: "In my opinion, beauty is not only about the external appearance, but also the beauty of the soul, and if a woman has both elements, has a charming appearance, with a pure soul, and a good heart, then she is a beautiful woman."

In the question "Is a beautiful woman enough?", Hiep answered: "In my opinion, a modern woman is not only beautiful, but also knowledgeable and understanding. If she is lucky enough to have a beautiful appearance, then foreign languages are the factors and spices that help women be confident and successful. And that is also the model, the type of person I want to aim for in the future."

In her new position, the new Miss International Student feels happy and joyful because after being crowned, she is known by more people (although that was not her main goal when participating in the contest).

When asked about the idea of promoting the image of Vietnam to international friends, Ngoc Hiep said: "To spread or bring the image of Vietnamese people to the international community more and more sympathetically, it cannot be done by just one person and as far as I know, the Vietnamese community here is also very strong, regularly organizing cultural exchange activities and I am willing to participate if conditions are favorable."

Ngoc Hiep said that after winning the contest, she continued to study to achieve her goals, as well as learn the scientific and disciplined way of working of the Japanese.

At school, outside of class time, Hiep participates in extracurricular activities organized by the school. In addition, the Vietnamese girl participates in activities at a church where she lives with the main purpose of helping the homeless through meals, warm clothes, and sports activities.

Ngoc Hiep is studying Japanese language course at a school in YoKohama city. The female international student confided that although living in a foreign country, she always has the spiritual support from her family, so she does not encounter any difficulties or pressure except that the winter weather in Japan is very beautiful but "cutting the skin and flesh" and she "has not been able to adapt".

This Lunar New Year, the beautiful girl could not return to Vietnam to reunite. Ngoc Hiep shared: "When it comes to Tet, not only children but also adults like us feel excited and excited.

And I, a child far from home, when I see the Tet atmosphere in my hometown, people returning home to celebrate Tet with their families, sometimes my heart aches. But luckily for Vietnamese children far from home like us, because there are student associations, Vietnamese communities in Japan, every year on Tet there are annual activities, reunion parties with fellow countrymen, eating Vietnamese Tet dishes... Somehow it helps us ease our homesickness, our homesickness.

Hopefully, my dreams and ambitions will gradually be achieved as each Tet passes, and for me, studying and accumulating knowledge and experience is never redundant in life, so I will pursue to the end the goals I set when coming to this land of the rising sun," Ngoc Hiep affirmed.
