Miss Central Vietnam represents Vietnam at Miss World Universities 2017

Runner-up of Miss Central Vietnam 2016 To Mai Thuy Duong represents Vietnam at World Miss University 2017.

Miss World University is a beauty contest for all female students studying at universities around the world since 1986.

The pageant is held annually in Seoul, South Korea with an average of 70 contestants each year. The event is to select representatives for the World University Peace Organization organized by the Miss World University Organizing Committee based in Manhattan, New York, USA.

According to the official announcement from Sen Vang Entertainment Joint Stock Company - the copyright holder of 10 international beauty contests, Miss Central Vietnam To Mai Thuy Duong will officially represent Vietnam in the World Miss University 2017 contest to be held in Korea and Cambodia in the near future.

To Mai Thuy Duong was born in 1996, is 1m71 tall, weighs 49kg, and has measurements of 82-62-90. Currently, Thuy Duong is a student at Ho Chi Minh City College of Culture and Arts. In 2016, Thuy Duong won the 1st runner-up title of Miss Central Vietnam.

During the past time, Thuy Duong has also tried her hand at many other artistic fields such as acting and modeling. Besides actively participating in shows of many famous designers at large and small events in the country to pursue a professional modeling career, Thuy Duong also spends time organizing and participating in charity activities.

Last July, she also participated in the Miss ASEAN Friendship 2017 contest and entered the top 10 out of 30 contestants.

The Miss World University 2017 pageant will be held in Korea and Cambodia from November 23 to December 20. The final night will take place on December 20.
