The United States and its allies have launched a full-scale information war against Moscow, making the confrontation of two value systems between the Russian Federation and the West obvious, Russian Deputy Defense Minister Andrey Kartapolov said.

"The main target of the United States and its allies is the Russian Federation. They are fighting us by launching a full-scale information war, which makes the growing confrontation of two value systems between Russia and the West obvious," Kartapolov said at a roundtable on the development of information and telecommunications cooperation in the CSTO space in the State Duma.

“We are covered by the entire network of NATO centers in the Baltic states, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, and other countries of the North Atlantic Alliance, in the territories where many so-called “non-governmental organizations” operate.”
According to him, the purpose of these organizations is to exert ideological propaganda on Russians, directly discredit Russia, as well as "give Russia the image of a dictatorial country with wild, ignorant residents, where the authorities do not respect the basic principles of international law".
