Lilies bloom beautifully on the sandy soil of Cua Lo

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 13, at Nghi Huong Ward People's Committee, Cua Lo Town Agricultural Extension Station organized a summary of the lily trial planting model.

Many people come to visit the lily model on the sandy soil of Cua Lo.

This is the first time Cua Lo town has boldly planted lilies on sandy soil. Right from the beginning of the model building, the town's Agricultural Extension Station chose Mr. Hoang Duong's family in block 11, Nghi Huong ward to build the model.

After 3 months of implementation, up to now, 450 lily plants have grown and developed well, with large, even flower buds, free from pests and diseases, and are considered very suitable for local weather and climate conditions...

This quantity of flowers will be in time to serve the upcoming Lunar New Year.

Currently, lilies are sold on the market for 35,000 VND/branch. After deducting expenses, Mr. Hoang Duong's family earned nearly 4 million VND.

The lily growing model is a new direction in diversifying agricultural products in Cua Lo. Although it is the first implementation, it has initially brought high economic efficiency, opening up a new direction in agricultural production in Cua Lo.
