Government asks US to suspend tariffs for negotiations

The Vietnamese government has proposed that the US side temporarily suspend the imposition of reciprocal tariffs on Vietnamese goods for 1-3 months to negotiate, in the spirit of ensuring fairness and mutual benefit; requested that businesses exporting to the US market maintain prices while waiting for negotiations; and deploy appropriate and effective solutions to "preserve the market".
