Results CA TP. HCM 3-4 Ninh Binh: Hoang Duc scores, Ninh Binh continues to be undefeated
The chase at Thong Nhat Stadium had 7 goals, ending with a 4-3 victory for Ninh Binh against CA TP. HCM, round 11 LPBank V-League 2025/26.
It was thought that the home team Ho Chi Minh City would face great pressure when facing the top team Ninh Binh. In fact, that happened right at the beginning of the first half, because in the 5th minute, the mountain goat team opened the score thanks to Hai Duc. The goal stunned the Ho Chi Minh City Police, but they did not let the away team be happy for too long, because only 5 minutes later, Viet Hoang equalized 1-1 for the home team.

The game was balanced, which made Coach Le Huynh Duc's players very excited. Therefore, in the 17th minute, from an attacking run, striker Williams scored a goal to raise the score to 2-1 for CA TP. HCM. 3 minutes later, the home team had another great chance to score, but Williams failed to finish.
After that, Ninh Binh regained control of the game and put a lot of pressure on the HCM City Police field. However, the visitors' attacks were not too dangerous and were still not enough to trouble the home team's goalkeeper Le Giang. However, when Ninh Binh had not found a goal, HCM City Police continued to take the lead 3-1 in the 45+1 minute thanks to Duc Phu.
Stunned by two consecutive losses, Ninh Binh pushed up the game and took advantage of the home team's defense's negligence. Hoang Duc headed the ball to shorten the score to 2-3 for the away team in the 45+2 minute.
In the first minute of the second half, Ninh Binh had a chance to put the ball into the net and Gustavo Henrique was the one who equalized 3-3 for Ninh Binh, in the excitement of the audience from the ancient capital of Hoa Lu. This draw made the away team confident and played more calmly in the remaining time of the match.
Towards the end of the match, Ninh Binh controlled the game better and forced HCM City Police to fight back hard.
In the 89th minute, Geovane's escape from goalkeeper Le Giang and his hook shot caused Quang Hung to clear the ball into his own net, raising the score to 4-3 for Ninh Binh.
Alcaraz had a smooth start at the 2025 ATP Finals
Carlos Alcaraz opened his journey to conquer his first ATP Finals title with a convincing victory over Alex De Minaur, affirming the stable form and bravery of the world number 2 tennis player.
Entering the 2025 ATP Finals with the desire to win the title for the first time, Carlos Alcaraz clearly showed his determination in the opening match against Alex De Minaur.
The Spanish player quickly created an advantage by breaking in the opening game, making his Australian opponent confused in developing his game.

However, while in control, Alcaraz suddenly made a double fault and let De Minaur drag set 1 into a tie-break.
At the pivotal moment, the world No. 2 player's mettle spoke up. He steadfastly saved important break points and ended the first set with a dramatic 7-5 victory.
In the second set, Alcaraz played like a “transformed” player. He moved flexibly, attacked erratically, and completely caught De Minaur in a spiral of pressure. The Spaniard won three consecutive breaks, closing the match after 1 hour and 28 minutes with a score of 6-2.
The 2-0 win gave Alcaraz a smooth start at the prestigious tournament for the eight best players of the season.
U17 Morocco destroyed 16-0, made history with FIFA "green card"
The Moroccan U17 team made the entire 2025 U17 World Cup in Doha mention their name on the evening of November 9.
That's not just because of their 16-0 thrashing of New Caledonia, but also because they were the first team to use the green card, FIFA's new experimental tool, to appeal a red card decision.
In the 31st minute, New Caledonia player Jean Canehmez received a yellow card, after teammate Typhan Dreuko was sent off in the 23rd minute. Coach Abdelhamid Baha immediately pulled out a green card to request a review of the situation. The Football Video Support (FVS) system was activated.

After checking, the referee determined that Canehmez should have been sent off for a serious foul. New Caledonia were reduced to nine men and completely collapsed under the Moroccan attack.
The African representative controlled the ball 73%, launched 12 shots and 8 corner kicks. Their attack was like a party. The goals came from Bilal Soukrat (3'), Oualid Ibn Salah (11', 18'), Abdelali Eddaoudi (41', 43'), Ilyas Hidaoui (44') and Ziyad Baha (45+2'). The first half ended with a score of 7-0, before Morocco scored nine more goals in the remaining time.
The “green card” is part of the FVS system that FIFA is testing in youth tournaments where full VAR is not yet available. According to the regulations, each coach has two appeals rights in a match, applicable to situations such as goals, penalties, red cards or misidentification of players. If the appeal is correct, the team retains the right to continue using it.
This is not the first time Morocco has used the technology. Last month, under-20 coach Mohamed Ouahbi used a green card to cancel a penalty against Spain.
At the 2025 U20 World Cup, Morocco successfully applied the technique on several occasions. In the final, Ouahbi successfully appealed a situation that led to a free kick, allowing Yassir Zabiri to score the opening goal in a historic 2-0 victory.
Despite the big win, the future of U17 Morocco is still uncertain. They only have three points, and their ticket to the next round depends on the results of groups C and D.
Real Madrid disappoints
On the night of November 9, Real Madrid's stars could not penetrate Rayo Vallecano's net in their away match of round 12 of La Liga.
True to their nickname El Matagigantes (The Giant Killer), Rayo once again made their powerful neighbors Real Madrid sweat. Under the guidance of coach Inigo Perez, the team from the southern suburbs of Madrid entered the match with confidence, discipline and determination.
They were rated lower in terms of personnel quality, but were not at all inferior. The midfield duo Ciss - Unai Lopez were active, while goalkeeper Batalla had a brilliant evening, constantly blocking shots from Vinicius and Bellingham.

Up front, Isi Palazon and Alvaro Garcia spearheaded the speedy counter-attacks. Garcia had the clearest chance of the second half, but his diagonal shot was not dangerous enough to defeat Courtois.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid fielded their youngest squad of the season, as Xabi Alonso rotated his squad after the defeat to Liverpool in the Champions League. The trio of Bellingham – Mbappe – Vinicius remained the focus, but all three played below their best.
Mbappe had a routine solo run in the 60th minute but shot wide, while Bellingham was kept out for much of the second half. Guler was a rare bright spot, with some fine handling and two long-range shots that shook the Rayo goal.
The late changes – Alexander-Arnold, Rodrygo or Ceballos – made no difference. Real’s attack lacked dynamism and precision in finishing. Rayo had just 0.15 expected goals (xG) compared to Real’s 0.38 – a game of few chances but full of tactical weight. This was also the fourth time in the last six times Real have failed to win at Vallecas.
The 0-0 draw left Real six points ahead of Barcelona, but with a game in hand. Rayo, meanwhile, have been the surprise package of the season. Despite finishing 12th, they have drawn with both Real and Barcelona at Vallecas this season.
