Hoang Mai: 100% of boats and ships have returned to safe mooring areas.

(Baonghean.vn) -To proactively respond to Typhoon No. 11, the Hoang Mai Flood and Storm Prevention Steering Committee issued directives to implement flood and storm prevention measures and organized the call for boats and ships to return to safe shelters.

Hoang Mai town currently has 926 fishing vessels, including 355 with a capacity of over 90 horsepower belonging to fishermen from Quynh Dy and Quynh Phuong wards and Quynh Lap commune. As of the afternoon of October 14th, 100% of the boats had returned to safe moorings.

Furthermore, to ensure the safety of vessels, in directives 03 and 04, Hoang Mai town directed coastal localities, along with Border Guard Post 144, to assist fishermen in anchoring their vessels to prevent collisions that could cause damage.
