Hoang Mai: Announcement of planning for Quynh Lap I thermal power plant

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 10, the Management Board of Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone coordinated with the People's Committee of Hoang Mai town to organize the Announcement Ceremony of the planning of Quynh Lap I Thermal Power Plant in Quynh Lap commune, Hoang Mai town.

At the ceremony, Mr. Phan Xuan Hoa - Deputy Head of the Management Board of the Southeast Nghe An Economic Zone announced the Decision on approving the detailed construction planning (scale 1/500) of Quynh Lap I Thermal Power Plant in Dong Hoi Industrial Park, Hoang Mai Town. The plant is built on an area of ​​143,554 hectares, an important project in the Electricity Development Strategy of the Coal - Minerals industry in general. After completion and operation, Quynh Lap I Thermal Power Plant will supply the national grid with about 6.6 billion kWh/year, contributing to ensuring national energy security and economic development in the North Central region, which is forecast to grow strongly in the coming time.
