Hoang Mai: Organizing a competition for excellent women's association presidents

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 9, Quynh Thien ward (Hoang Mai town) organized a contest for excellent women's association presidents and population collaborators in 2014 to celebrate the 84th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2014).

Participating in the contest, the contestants are the heads of the women's association branches and population collaborators of the hamlets in Quynh Thien ward. They must go through 3 rounds including knowledge round, situation handling round and talent round to show off the contestants' singing talent.

The topics of the contests revolved around issues related to family knowledge, family planning, gender equality and domestic violence prevention, child care and raising methods... Especially through the contest, many women and population collaborators created many good skits and plays to propagate to women, mothers and gentlemen to join hands in preventing domestic violence, raising awareness of gender equality...

The organizing committee awarded the prize to the best women's association president in 2014.

At the end of the competition, the organizing committee awarded 1 first prize to the excellent women's association president, 1 second prize, 2 third prizes and many other outstanding individual prizes.
