Hoang Mai: Organizing a competition for outstanding women's association branch leaders.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 9th, Quynh Thien ward (Hoang Mai town) organized a competition for outstanding women's association leaders and population collaborators in 2014 to celebrate the 84th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 – October 20, 2014).

Participating in the competition were the heads of women's associations and population collaborators from the neighborhoods in Quynh Thien ward. They had to go through three parts: a knowledge test, a situational problem-solving test, and a talent show showcasing their singing abilities.

The competition's themes revolved around issues related to family knowledge, family planning, gender equality, prevention of domestic violence, and methods of childcare and parenting. Notably, through the competition, many women and population collaborators created excellent skits and plays to raise awareness among women, mothers, and men about preventing domestic violence and promoting gender equality.

The organizing committee presented awards to outstanding women's association leaders of 2014.

At the end of the competition, the organizing committee awarded one first prize to the outstanding women's association leader, one second prize, two third prizes, and many other outstanding individual awards.
