Magnificent and impressive art program 'Heroic Ben Thuy'
(Baonghean.vn) - The art program "Heroic Ben Thuy" organized by Nhan Dan Newspaper in coordination with the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee of Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces aims to revive the historical, cultural and revolutionary traditions of the land and people of Nghe An and Ha Tinh.

On the evening of September 8, at the North of Ben Thuy Bridge (Vinh City), the art program "Heroic Ben Thuy" organized by Nhan Dan Newspaper in coordination with Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces took place solemnly and meaningfully.
Attending the program, on the Central side were comrades: Tran Quoc Vuong - Politburo member, Standing member of the Party Central Committee Secretariat; Nguyen Sinh Hung - former Politburo member, former Chairman of the National Assembly; Vuong Dinh Hue - Politburo member, Deputy Prime Minister; Phan Dinh Trac - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Party Central Committee's Internal Affairs Commission; Thuan Huu - Member of the Party Central Committee, President of the Vietnam Journalists Association, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper; Nguyen The Ky - Member of the Party Central Committee, General Director of the Voice of Vietnam; Nguyen Thi Thu Ha - Member of the Party Central Committee, President of the Vietnam Women's Union; representativesleaders of central ministries, departments and branches.
On the side of Military Region 4, there were Major General Tran Vo Dung - Political Commissar of the Military Region; Major General Nguyen Sy Hoi - Deputy Commander of the Military Region.
On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrades: Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council;Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee;Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; representatives of leaders of departments, branches, sectors and localities of Nghe An province.
On the side of Ha Tinh province, there were comrades: Le Dinh Son - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Hoang Trung Dung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Tran Tien Hung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of leaders of departments, branches, sectors and localities of Ha Tinh province.
Also attending the program were revolutionary elders, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, historical witnesses and thousands of people from the two provinces of Nghe An and Ha Tinh.

Opening the "Heroic Ben Thuy" art program, comrade Thuan Huu reviewed the history of the sacred land and talented people of Nghe Tinh from the time of the country's founding until now. The program recounted history from 2879 BC, when Kinh Duong (real name Loc Tuc, born in the year of Nham Ngo - 2919 BC) ascended the throne, established the Xich Quy state and chose to make his capital at Ngan Hong, to Phuong Hoang Trung Do, and to a Ben Thuy with bright flags and fighting spirit in the revolutionary movement of 1930 - 1931 and then the war to regain independence and freedom for the homeland, to build a strong and prosperous homeland.

Many famous songs such as “Trung Do thoi ay con day”, “Nui Hong song Lam”, “Ben Thuy khuc trang ca”, “Gui nguoi chien sy tren phe”, “Co quan lang do”, “Hello em co gai Lam Hong”, “Giu hn binh troi xa Xo Viet Nghe An”, “Nghe Tinh minh day”, “Thuong ve xu Nghe”, “Tomorrow anh ve Ha Tinh” were performed by famous singers such as Trong Tan, Quoc Hung, Tung Duong, Anh Tho, Tuan Phuong, Phuong Thao, Tien Hung and artists of Vietnam Contemporary Arts Theater, Nghe An Ethnic Song and Dance Troupe, Military Region IV Troupe, Ha Tinh Traditional Arts Theater at the program.

The program brought the participants a special feeling of pride in a heroic Ben Thuy. During the program, comrade Tran Quoc Vuong also presented 200 gifts from the program's Organizing Committee to the people of Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces who were heavily affected by the recent storm No. 4. The total value of the gifts was 600 million VND/.
