(Baonghean.vn) - On May 22, there will continue to be programs to distribute free porridge to poor patients; collect donations and support people with serious illnesses in difficult circumstances... in localities across the province.

300 bowls of porridge and 10 gifts were handed to the patients. This is an activity of the youth of Hoang Mai town to practically welcome the Congress of the town's Youth Union for the term 2019 - 2024.

Every Saturday and Sunday, the youth union members of Nghia Long commune collect beer cans, scrap paper, cardboard and other scraps and bring them to the commune union office to sell to raise funds. The movement has attracted a large number of union members to participate and has been enthusiastically supported by the people.
In the movement of "volunteering for social security", in the 2018-2019 school year, from the funds mobilized at the grassroots level, the commune union gave 30 white shirts to poor students and 15 gifts to students overcoming difficulties with a cost of nearly 7 million VND.
In the coming time, Nghia Dan District Youth Union will develop a plan to replicate the model throughout the area, considering this as a way to help union members and youth connect responsibilities and care for and help each other in life.
