Activities to support the poor and disadvantaged students in localities
(Baonghean.vn) - Giving "Great Solidarity" houses to poor households; donating books and school supplies to disadvantaged students before the new school year... are social and charitable activities taking place on August 19.

The two households receiving support are Mr. Le Van Tiep, a Dan Lai ethnic group, in Ban Moi and Mr. Lo Van Mui, a poor household in Met village.
Both households have very difficult lives, living in temporary, dilapidated houses with no conditions to repair or upgrade. The "For the Poor" Fund Mobilization Committee of Con Cuong district supported 30 million VND/household, plus the working days of brothers and relatives, the families built a level 4 house with an area of 50 - 60m2.2to stabilize life

At Tan Ky High School, teacher Nguyen Sy Hao - teacher of Tan Ky High School together with the school's Board of Directors presented more than 200 sets of old textbooks to students in especially difficult circumstances, children in remote areas in mountainous communes of Tan Ky district, so that they can start the new school year.

During the past school year, teacher Nguyen Sy Hao mobilized teachers, parents and students inside and outside the school to donate 247 sets of old textbooks and many reference books to 247 students in difficult circumstances in the 2019-2020 school year, helping them confidently enter the new school year.

The delegation visited and gave gifts to two children, Thai Thi Ha Vy, in village 4 and Tran Thi Cam Ly, in village 6. The two children are from poor households, in especially difficult circumstances, and have lost their father.
On this occasion, the delegation gave each child a gift including a school bag and school supplies, worth 500,000 VND. This amount was taken from the car wash fund raised by the union members and youth of the commune last summer.
