Activities to support the poor in localities
(Baonghean.vn) - Organizing free medical examinations, consultations and medicine distribution for people in border areas; visiting and supporting people with serious illnesses and giving breakfast to students... are charitable activities aimed at the poor and poor students in localities on May 9.

More than 100 milk and 200 porridges were handed out to patients being treated here. The “Humanitarian Porridge Bowl” program of the Community Health Care Education Association is an annual activity held once a month at district and town hospitals.
Cua Lo Medical Center is the 5th unit that the Association has implemented a charity program in 2019./.

* On the same day, at the hall of the People's Committee of Tan Ky district, Nghe An,The Organizing Committee of the Art Exchange Program “Legend of a Road” visited, encouraged and presented more than 90 gifts to veterans of Truong Son Army, youth volunteers, frontline workers, and poor students who overcame difficulties to study well in the district. At the same time, the Organizing Committee also presented 2 houses to the heroic Vietnamese mother Pham Thi Phi in Nghia Dung commune and the family of Mr. Lo Van Can, a veteran with difficult circumstances in Tien Ky commune; and presented a playground worth 30 million VND to Nghia Dung Commune Kindergarten.

This is an activity within the framework of the Art Exchange Program "Legend of a Road" organized by the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, the Youth Union of the Army in coordination with the Political Department of Military Region 4, Corps 12; the Army Radio and Television Center; the Military Command of Nghe An province and related agencies and units, aiming to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the opening of the Ho Chi Minh Trail - the Traditional Day of Truong Son Troops (May 19, 1959 - May 19, 2019).

* Thai Hoa Town Red Cross SocietyCoordinated with the People's Committee of Nghia Hoa commune to visit, give gifts, and support 1 million VND to Mr. Nguyen Van Hoe who is in difficult circumstances, suffering from limb artery occlusion, his two legs cannot move and he had to have both legs amputated, all activities depend on the help of relatives.
On this occasion, the Party Committee and government of Nghia Hoa commune also provided material and spiritual support to Mr. Hoe's family.

* Nghe An Traditional Medicine HospitalCoordinated with the military medical staff of Tri Le Border Guard Station (Nghe An Border Guard) and local medical staff to examine, consult, and provide free medicine to people in Tri Le commune, Que Phong district.

More than 100 people, mainly elderly people in the area, were examined, consulted and provided health care by doctors. Members of the delegation also promoted scientific hygiene and disease prevention for the people. The program provided free medicine worth more than 22 million VND.
The above activities aim to help local people detect some diseases early. At the same time, improve the effectiveness of the combined military-civilian medical program, contributing to the socio-economic development in the border area.

Youth union members prepare bread, meat, eggs, milk, vegetables, tubers... ensuring nutrition and food safety to serve 200 breakfasts to poor students in Nghia Dung commune.
The free breakfast has been maintained by the Youth Union of Police Camp 3 for several months now, since then a number of organizations and individuals in the area have voluntarily accompanied and maintained this meaningful charity activity.
