(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An industry is undergoing a positive shift; many sectors have focused on environmental protection by investing in technology and modern production lines. This result has positive contributions from industrial promotion, cleaner production, and connecting supply - demand and product consumption.
On the morning of November 18, the Provincial People's Committee held a conference to summarize industrial promotion activities, cleaner production in industry in the period of 2016-2020 and connect supply and demand for products of Nghe An province in 2020. Attending were comrade Le Ngoc Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, representatives of the Department of Local Industry, Ministry of Industry and Trade, and departments, branches and localities.

Practical support for businesses and craft villages
PerformPromotion programNational and Industrial Cleaner Production Strategy to 2020, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee approved the Nghe An Province Industrial Promotion Program for the period 2016 - 2020 and the Strategy Action Plan.cleaner productionin industry in Nghe An province in the period of 2017 - 2020. After 5 years of implementation, industrial promotion activities and the implementation of the Cleaner Production Strategy in industry have brought a new breath of life to the development of industry, small-scale industry and craft village construction; contributing to promoting the development of rural industry, successfully implementing the new rural construction program.
In the 2016-2020 period, the budget for industrial promotion activities supported nearly 39 billion VND. Of which, the district level allocated 2,250 billion VND in support, accounting for 5.77%; the province supported 417 projects, with a budget of 22 billion VND, accounting for 56.42%; the national source supported 35 projects, with a budget of 14,745 billion VND, accounting for 37.81%. Compared to the 2011-2015 period, the province's industrial promotion budget increased by 11.21%, and the national industrial promotion budget increased by 70.67%.

From the industrial promotion capital, we have invested in building new production lines, expanding production scale, transferring technology and applying advanced machinery, scientific and technical advances; purchasing equipment and production tools for craft villages and craft villages. Thereby contributing to improving productivity, product quality, efficiency in using raw materials, fuels and materials, minimizing environmental pollution compared to the machinery, equipment and technological lines that production facilities are using or creating new products.

At the conference, the Department of Industry and Trade comprehensively assessed the results of implementing industrial promotion activities, the Cleaner Production Strategy in industry and connecting supply - demand, product consumption in Nghe An province in the period of 2016 - 2020; Discussed and assessed the shortcomings, limitations and causes, thereby drawing lessons, proposing solutions to overcome, continue to promote industrial promotion activities, implement the Cleaner Production Strategy in industry and connecting supply - demand, product consumption to improve efficiency in the period of 2021 - 2025 and the following years.

On this occasion, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit of the Provincial People's Committee to 7 collectives and 8 individuals with outstanding achievements in industrial promotion, cleaner production and connecting supply - demand, product consumption in the period of 2016-2020; awarded recognition of typical rural industrial products at the provincial level in 2020. The conference also conducted a memorandum of understanding on product consumption between supermarkets and production facilities in the province.
