Charitable activities in localities
(Baonghean.vn) - Activities of handing over public housing to teachers and providing free medical examination and medicine to the elderly took place in the province on May 29.

Located nearly 70 km from the district center, Thong Thu Kindergarten has 1 main campus and 5 satellite campuses. In the 2018-2019 school year, the whole school has 30 staff, teachers and workers. Most of the teachers in the school work far from home, so the need for public housing is very high.
In order to share the difficulties with teachers, Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with local authorities and schools to start building official housing for teachers. After more than 2 months of construction, the project has been completed and put into use with an area of nearly 100m2.2, with a total investment of over 700 million VND, of which the Provincial Labor Federation supported 500 million VND, the rest was supported by the People's Committee of Que Phong district.

At the program, 300 elderly people in Quynh My commune received general health check-ups and screening to detect dangerous diseases early, and were advised on daily activities and nutrition to ensure health and prevent common diseases in the elderly./.
